Nissan has revamped three of its popular cars; the 370 Z Roadster, Cube and 370Z. As a result these vehicles have been significantly improved with more power than ever before. Let’s take a look at the autos which have received recent updates.

Nissan’s 370Z Roadster

There’s nothing better than cruising around in a convertible during the summer and the 370Z is one of the sleekest ones on the road. With the Z-platform used as a guideline, the roadster adds a convertible top for your driving pleasure. The engine that powers this vehicle is a capable 3.7 liter six cylinder engine that pumps out 332 hp and 270 lb-ft. of torque; a big improvement over the old 350Z Roadster model. The convertible top is made from cloth and can fully recline in 20 seconds. The starting cost for the Roadster starts at $37k.

Nissan Cube

We are only in our second sales year here for the Cube in the US, but this vehicle has been selling for almost a decade now in Japan. The Cube has proved to be a solid contender in the micro van segment. As a matter of fact, there are many Cubes out running the roads this very minute. The Cube shares the same platform as the Versa and as a result it is powered by the same engine. The 1.8 liter engine has 122 hp and 127 lb-ft of torque. This vehicle is also front wheel drive. When it comes to appearances, the Cube sports a unique look. This is evident by the wrap around rear window. Pricing starts at the $14k range. The Cube is a solid choice for the young or young at heart.

Nissan Nismo 370Z

Racers and high performance enthusiasts will love the Nissan’s Nismo 370Z. Nismo has a popular high performance vehicle in Japan for many years. But, Nismo has seldom offered special edition vehicles; at least not for the American market. There is no mistaking the this vehicle with its boy racer body kit which includes bold front and rear bumpers and a spoiler.
Pricing starts at around the $37k range which is $6k more than the regular 370Z, but the list of extras is huge.

Nissan tuners have extracted 18 more horsepower via a high flow exhaust and a remapped ECU. The entire suspension has been thoroughly reworked with tighter/stiffer components including stiffer springs and dampeners, bigger roll and sway bars too. These work in conjunction in order to give the Nismo 370Z a much tighter handling and steering response.

19” Rays rims cover the high performance Yokohama Advan Sport Tires that have a speed rating 186 mph. Inside there are Nismo logos and customized embroidered seats. Other distinct pieces can be found throughout the cabin such as shifter, pedals, and special Nismo badge. Speed for this vehicle is quite quick thanks to 350 hp on tap; it travels 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds and can tackle the quarter mile in 14.1 seconds at 103 mph. It takes just 77 feet for this auto to come to a complete halt from 60 miles per hour.
